Today I am a happy bunny. My mobile phone is over two years old and the company I am with won't let me upgrade because I never pay by Direct Debit. I always just pay when the bill comes in. All my bills are up to date but still they won't let me upgrade until I have had a Direct Debit for over four months. I don't like Direct Debits, one of the reasons being due to my previous entry, wages not getting paid in etc.
Anyway, today I cancelled my contract and went to a new provider (same one as Peter's, so we can chat unlimited for nothing) and I got a big new HTC Desire 620. And it is only an extra £2 a month and I can pay it whatever way I want. So off to play with it now and then I am off to get showered and hair washed for our night out tonight.
We are meeting up with old friends in Glasgow and going to a nice restaurant then round a few bars. I am not a drinker but I will have a couple of Smirnoff Ices and then on to soft drinks.
So update you tomorrow with how our night went.
