Back Again

Haven't been on here for ages and every time I go back on I say I am going to stay on and I don't. However, I am loving reading all the refugees from OD diaries!! Should be fun. I think I've read all the rest! I'll make this fairly short as I am in work. I have my own office so can skive when I want.

The sun is shining in Scotland (Glasgow) today but it is bloody freezing (as per usual). I work part time in a solicitor's office as we have our own dog walking business. We walk loads of dogs all day long in all sorts of weather and I love it. We have had three hurricanes this year so far and yet we have been out in them all getting saturated, pneumonia and covered in mud. I love it but it feels different being freezing in an office. Does that make sense? Probably not.

Every Wednesday night we go to a quiz night in the bar/restaurant next door to us. It is fun. Last week we won the raffle ticket and collected £89! Last night we won the whole quiz and got a bottle of wine and two other free drinks.

What else is new? Our cat has got so fat he can't get through the cat flap and so we have to keep getting up and down in the night to let him in then out then in then out. I am so sleep deprived. Anybody got any ideas on how to put a cat on a diet? I have cut down his food but he is eating elsewhere!

Tomorrow is supposed to be my day off but my boss has just asked me to come in for the afternoon. Never mind, more money I suppose but was looking forward to my four hours of walking doggies tomorrow.

Anyway I better stop skiving. I will type something more interesting next time. Bye for now and welcome to all the newbees.

Thank you (I'm a newbee). I guess the difference is that you are moving when your cold outside. I love camping in cold weather. Could you do jumping jacks at your desk? Just kidding. My fat cat also defies diets. Sometimes I have to lift him to his blanket on my desk so that he can pester me while I compute.

Hi Bonnie, yep I agree. No matter how cold it is outside at least we are moving and that is the difference. I didn't think about that before. Yeah I think I will do some jumping jacks in the office, lol. The boss turned the heating OFF this afternoon. Some folk! I hate the thought of my cat getting any fatter as it can't be healthy for him. I think I will stick posters of him all round the streets saying 'Do not feed this cat'!

Hello William. I know, it's unheard of isn't it? Ha ha. That's all we ever get is rain, cold, blizzards etc, as you will know being a fellow Scot.

Hi. I'm another refugee from OD, then ED but am also on Prosebox. Was told of this place and so far I'm liking what I see. Nice to meet new people from other places. Yes, I totally understand about cold inside not being welcome. You expect to be cold when you go outside in the cold, but expect some warmth inside. Seems lots of people have to deal with that being part of their work place. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

I agree that you reap what you sow. Everyone has free will, I always believed that God will never interfere with our free will. However, I do believe in loving God and being obedient to Him (like obeying the 10 commandments, for example). Sure, people could always help us to get to where we're going in life. But I also believe that God is majorly behind it too, as with so many other things in life. All good comes from him.

Hi Will, yes I agree with what you say and I wasn't criticizing you in any way. It's just that with the state of the world and children dying etc etc it is hard to believe that someone actually makes these decisions. I prefer to believe man is the cause of all good and all bad. I do believe in fate though so maybe there is some sort of divine intervention. I hope you have a good day too.
