I did the permanent switch just a couple of days ago and I'm finding it really comfortable and cozy. Welcome!!!

Don't be fooled... Bloop has it's drama... but it's not nearly as bad as OD's drama [so I've heard].

okay...on my front page, below the box, there is a link that says "layouts" I think. Whatever it says, click on it. It's a Bloop diary that has all kinds of layouts. Below each entry that shows the individual layout there are codes. The first one is for your front page. Copy and paste that code in your front page, moving the title of your diary into the part and your info to the part (or what ever it says), you kinda have to read the HTML or whatever it's called.
As for the entry layouts, click on manage my diary, then entries, then entry template. You'll copy and paste the code there and it will save for every entry - kinda like entry manager on OD.
The code will show up on every new entry and you'll have to put the entry title in the right spot and the entry part in the entry part. Just like in the front page layout.

I'm glad you're gonna stay! Bloop is much more welcoming then OD simply because the people here are extremely friendly. I love it.
And, such as yourself, OD will always hold a special place in my heart too but if it keeps having issues I'll be switching over for good.
