WE'RE HAVING A BOY! So as you already know I went to the hospital Tuesday with extreme pains in my abdomen and back, at which time my OBGYN came in to see me and scheduled a sonogram to check on the baby because the heart rate of the baby led him to believe that the baby could be breach. So today after work I went to the hospital as an out patient to have the sonogram done. Well I really didn't expect to find out what the baby's sex was today because Tuesday the nurse told me that legally the policy of the hospital was that if you did not have an established means of medical insurance the ultrasound tech wasn't supposed to tell you. According to the nurse it was to far along for them to easily see the baby's sex without them having to take a lot of pictures and do a lot of searching. None the less when I got into the ultrasound room I asked the tech politely if, should she see the baby's sex, if she would please tell me what it was. She gave me no problems about it whatsoever, just said sure and told me to lie down. On top of that she didn't even have to search, the first picture she got somehow ended up being right at the baby's privates and sure enough, plain as day, IT'S A BOY!!!!! John and I are so excited, of course we would love the baby regardless of whether or not the baby was a boy or a girl, but having a daughter already we were hoping for a boy. This is going to be SO awesome, and now that we know the sex we can really sit down and hit the baby name books. Of course I am still looking for suggestions from you guys as well, like I said before should we decide to use a name suggested by someone on here they will get a full entry in their honor when the baby is born and legitimately named. So keep those suggestions coming, we could certainly use them!
Anyway, other than that they said that the baby looked completely healthy, and that if he was breach Tuesday he has turned since then and is now facing the way he's supposed to. In other words today was all good news, which we desperately needed. I had some more, extremely disturbing things, to talk about regarding my father and some fucked up things he's done. But to be honest right now all that matters to me is my children, my family and the good news I've received. Not only that but my little brother (actually he's the son of a girl my dad used to date, but I love him very much so as far as anyone else is concerned he's my brother) Zach is spending the night tonight so I need to get off of here and spend some time with him. He's such a good kid and I like being able to be there for him so for now I'm outtie! Blessed Be and Caio!
