The Long and Short of It
WOW my last entry was in June?? Sorry about that but things haven't been so good lately. Lets see first things first, I got fired from my job in August the same month that I found out that I'm pregnant again! I worked at that damn place for two years, used to love it then along comes the new boss we'll call her Suzy just to keep from getting in trouble! She made that place a living hell to work in and now that I don't have a job there anymore I can tell everyone all about it! First let me paint you a picture of the kind of person she was. At the age of 32 she becomes the new site manager for SFI, at which time she was still in college completing her degree on interior design and was still living faithfully with her parents. Coming with a managerial background that extended far enough to include being a manager for Block Busters. She then later on moves out on her own into a nice apartment, buys furniture turns all her utilities etc and still has enough money left over to buy an almost brand new 2008 Mustang with full coverage insurance but tells everyone that she barely makes enough money to keep herself alive. She gets with this poor sucker we'll call Jess admits to everyone at work that even though he loves her madly she's really not that interested in him because he's "nerdy" and she's used to being with foot ball players only. Yet still when he proposes (after 3 months of being together) she readily excepts telling him that she will not accept the ring unless it is top of the notch and costs at least a few grand. This guy does as she says, he even turned down a 10,000 dollar a year extra promotion because it meant he would have to move away little does he know that the girl doesn't even find him attractive!! Okay that shows you the kind of person she is now lets focus in on what kind of boss she was. She would act friendly to everyone when they were around but behind their back she would gossip about their lives and tell us things that were supposed to be confidential. She showed blatant favoritism including allowing her favorite officers pick not only when they worked but who they wanted to work with, right in front of the "unfavorites" mind you which I happened to be a member of. On top of that she would trick all the "un-favorites" into losing their jobs and if she couldn't trick you, she forced you. She forced a friend of mine that she didn't like. We'll call my friend Krys, Krys had a little 3 year old girl, was a single mom and had only recently been able to afford moving back out of her parents home due to the fact that she worked with SFI. But Krys could only work the day time shifts due to the fact that the only babysitter available could only watch her 3 yr. old during the day. Soooo "Suzy" moved Krys to the night time shift and when Krys tried to reason with her "Suzy's" reaction was, "it's not my problem, but if you are out or late one time whether you were able to find a baby sitter or not then you are fired." Sure enough, true to her word Krys was unable to find a babysitter one night about a week after the switch, was about 15 minutes late getting to work and was promptly fired the next day. Me? oh I got tricked! We got in a batch of new officers and I was asked confidentially by one of the officers what my opinion of "Suzy" as a boss was. I answered honestly and told the girl that "Suzy" was an awful boss and that if she wasn't careful she'd end up like Krys, well we didn't notice that a contractor was standing off to the side listening. Now even though this contractor had often times joined in on our bashing of "Suzy" apparently "Suzy" got to him because the next day he told her every word I said. At which point "Suzy" promptly called me into her office and asked me if the accusations were true, I told her they were and she fired me. But I wasn't fired for talking bad about her, according to her I was being fired for dishonesty because she was not in her opinion a bad boss. She even tried to get me to sign a paper saying I had been dishonest but I refused. I still need to do something about it legally I do believe. After losing my job then the worst happened, Isabel my 7 month old daughter started having unexplained seizures. The first night it happened we rushed her to the hospital, ended up being ambulanced to Scottish Rite and spent two days there with my poor little girl hooked up to so many wires she could barely move. Since then it has been a constant back and forth drive from here to Scottish Rite (a two hour drive) for test after test, and they still haven't found the cause...it's very terrifying! Needless to say things have not been going so well for us! Neither one of us has been able to find a job even though we've searched and searched till we're blue in the face, we are about to lose everything we have, my daughter is sick and I am having a difficult pregnancy...life is very hard right now. But we will make it through this and will eventually move on to better times. I did not get on here to play a sob song for myself, only to explain where I have been and why but now Isabel needs my attention so I've got to go! I will update again later! Caio and Blessed Be!

I'm sorry to hear about everything, but things will turn around.

I really pray you guys find out what's wrong with your daughter.. There's gotta be one doctor that'll know.

Take care, & God Bless.
