Exciting News
Well the good news is that I might have a job come sometime next week or the week after. I took my mom to her doctors appointment and while I was out I went and put in a couple of applications along with my resume. I've got two really good chances, the first one is with a company called Sizemore, they do security work. The main boss was actually the one who told me to drop by and put in an application but as my luck normally goes he wasn't there yesterday to complete an interview. The girl who took my application and resume however told me that he WOULD be calling me for an interview so thats really good. I also stopped at this military sewing plant here in town called BBI and put in an application. I worked there a few years ago and was a no call no show so I was worried that they wouldn't rehire me but the main lady gave me my interview on the spot and pulled my old personnel file. She told me to call her personally Thursday because that was her next hire date and that she would tell me what was available for me to choose from then. The only thing holding me back there is that I specifically requested a sit down position because I'm pregnant (but they don't know that lol) and she said she may need a doctors excuse to assure me a sit down position. Thats okay though I'm pretty sure if I go to a doc and explain my predicament that he'll give me the excuse I need. Anyway I can't type anymore big news right now, we invited this old lady that lives beside us to dinner. She's not right in the head and her husband just got thrown in jail for violation of probation so she's stuck down there with no one to talk to, nothing to do and no one to look after her (she has severe seizures WAY worse than Isabel). So I've got to get dinner started and tidy the house up. Not to mention the fact that my mom will be here in a couple hours to visit with Isabel...so I'm about to be very busy. I just wanted to share the "possibly good news" and I'll make sure to update and let you know if anything comes of either job opportunity! Until next time Blessed Be and Caio!
