OMG we went to the Renissance Festival and it was TO DIE FOR!! Of course we got soaked to the bone because it was raining the entire time we were there but it was worth getting wet for. First we watched The Tortuga Twins they were absolutely hilarious after that we went and got something to eat. John and momma had turkey legs and I had Spinach Artichoke dip in a bread bowl...it was AWESOME!!! While we were eating I decided I wanted to try a chardonnay I didn't like it so I gave it to my mom (who NEVER drinks), one drink and she was tipsy. Well John and I decided to go into the museum of torture (a museum with a bunch of old torture devices they used back in the Rennisance era along with life like dummies being tortured) when we got back out mom had bought another chardonnay and was pretty well sloshed. Forgive me we were there for about 7 hrs so there is no way I can tell you absolutely everything we did. But I did get to be part of a show, we were watching a show called Flying Debris, the guys name was Todd and he juggled. He decided to juggle a machete, a garden weasel and a can of spam. Well he said that getting those three things going all at one time was very awkward so he picked me out of the crowd to throw him the can of spam when he gave me the signal. I tired to explain to him that I couldn't throw but he wouldn't listen to me. So at first he decided to try a practice throw and I missed him by about a foot LOL it was really funny. I was proud of myself though because when he was actually juggling and gave me the signal I threw it right to him no problems. He was really whiney anyway.
We also got to see my favorite show of all time "Cast in Bronze" which I recommend everyone to check out castinbronze.com that was of course AWESOME except for the original guy wasn't there his protege was and he upset me a little. See the player of the bells is supposed to be a spirit there for they are not supposed to speak...well this guy being young and wanting attention decided to speak to the crowd after his performance which took a little bit away from the mystery for me but I talked to him about how I had see the original show back when I was little and got his autograph anyway. We ended up spending about $160 bucks at the festival. I got a pentacle necklace with an owl on it, I bought John a set of shies and I got my mom a ring, not to mention the cost of food, and admission. But like I said before it was a blast, by the time we left we were absolutely exhausted!!! Afterwards we tried to talk mom into coming to Cracker Barrel to eat with us but she was to tired, so we took her home and John and I went to eat. That night we passed out, but it was great we were both so happy...I wouldn't triad that day for the world!!!
Oh and just to clear up any questions, Isabel was with her babysitter (who she loves) Tammy, no we did NOT take our two month old out into the rain!!!! Well I'm outtie now caio!!
