I finally got the internet at home.
I'm planning on posting a large picture update.
The adoptive mother sent me a TON of pictures - I think it was her biggest picture update yet.
I might need to break it into two entries lol.
Awhile ago, myself, my family and I met with the adoptive parents and Niklas.
It went really well, as it normally does.
He was walking/toddling along and sat really well through dinner.
It's really awesome to meet up with them.
I really feel as though I am having dinner with friends.
What I remember the most is when my dad (who was sitting farther down the table) lifted his hand up and waved at Niklas.
Niklas scrunched up his face and nose, grinned really wide and raised his arm up also and gave a wave.
It made me laugh so hard.
The adoptive mom then mentioned to me that she would like to do some scrapbooking at some point, so I'm thinking that when I get everything situated with my life, I would want to meet up with her and do that.
On his first birthday, she called me up that morning.
I guess she was surprised that my mom had sent her a gift certificate for her to use on Niklas.
They were headed to the doctor's appointment, and she said she would call me back with the details on that.
He is now 25 pounds, and 30 inches tall.
I am thinking about making a new layout for this diary.
I also was thinking about organizing some entries, but every entry seems to be in order anyways (email updates of the month with the pictures following), so I might just make a link to the very first introductory entry for new readers.
The agreement for the next ... 2 years (?) ... was supposed to be an update every month, but the adoptive mother was really quick to say that she would be sending me/us an update once a month.
With having the internet, I'll be able to answer questions and everything.
