THEM DANGED COMPUTER GAMES

12/29/2011

Sitting here with my son Aaron's computer. He has been trying to reformat mine all day, and he isn't getting anywhere with it. He's just a tad frustrated.

Tomorrow Aaron will be going to his grandmother's house for a few days and then he is going to his grandfather's for a week or so. I just realized that he has 2 more weeks left, so he could actually come back home again - before he goes back to school on the 16th. Sweet!

It's been really nice having him home - but he is SO OVERBEARING! He doesn't seem to have that many boundaries. But, he also is more loving than he used to be. He wants a hug every night and most mornings.

Don't let me fool you, I am loving every minute of it.

Kev should be home soon - I have really missed him today. Even though this morning he took me into Corinth for coffee. We also made our house payment. It feels pretty satisfying to be nearly caught up with all of our bills.

Especially since Kevin is talking about getting done at Hannaford and going part-time somewhere else. Which would be nice - in the sense that he would be home a lot more than he is now. But - on the other side of the coin, HE WOULD BE HOME A LOT MORE THAN HE IS NOW!

I'm not really bitching, if you have been in a relationship for a very long time (19 years next month!) then you know what I am talking about - I ♥ the man like crazy, but spending a lot of time with him drives me crazy.

My hat still hasn't come in the mail, but it's okay, because Kev bought me a black & gray wool one at the store in Corinth.

Just a few more days left until I get my new computer. The one that I am looking at is an Acer Aspire One in an aquamarine color. It's very pretty - I wanted the purple one, but they don't have them in this area anymore. Aaron told me that it didn't really matter what color I got, because I could get skins for it that will make it any color that I want.

I am also getting a netbook for my son, Cameron. It's just a little one that runs on WindowsCE, but that is what he wants. (Aaron has a green one that he totes all around the campus with him - it's his go-to when something happens to his HP).

Well, my hands are aching like hell, so I am going to go take some Ibuprofen, and then chill and rest my hands until my hubby comes home.

~catch ya on the flip side~
