Been trying to use the mobile version of Bloop on my phone - it's alright, I just can't do entries, but Steve said that he was going to fix that, so I am patiently waiting.
At my MIL's house, we just took her to the doctor's and then she wanted to go grocery shopping. Now she is unpacking her groceries. She was nice and got me some instant cappucino (I'm not sure if that is spelled right or not), a few frozen chinese dinners (Pagoda Express - never tried them before), a steak for Kev, a whole slew of lunch meat, chips and soda, cheese and soup - all of the staples that a person needs.
My friend had her babies - twins - and I am going down to her house tomorrow so that we can go visit the babies in the NICU. They were only 3 pounds each when they were born, so they have to stay in the hospital for a little longer.
Taught myself to knit, but don't like it. Each time I drop a stitch, I don't know how to fix it so I have to take the whole entire thing apart and start again. Just not for me. I do however LOVE to crochet and have been busy making a whole bunch of crap.
I made a shawl that I wore yesterday, and the lady at the post office loved it, so she bought it from me. I am also making one for a dear pen-friend of mine - I am hoping that she likes it.
My current project is a tote bag - it is a copyrighted pattern, so I don't think that I can post pictures of it on here. I'll see, maybe I can because this is my personal diary and it's not like the whole world is going to see it.
Anyway, Kev is on vacation this week, so we are trying to get in as much activity and togetherness as we can. Yesterday we went and spent the day up at the lot. It was 61 degrees, and I got a bit of a sunburn.
Today was the day that I was supposed to get two of my fillings done, but the fuckers canceled on me. Now it's not going to be done until the beginning of April. All that worrying and waiting FOR NOTHING. Well, not nothing, I have to have the first quarter of my mouth scaled next
Wednesday. NOT looking forward to that, but it has to be done.
It seems to me that since I've been taking care of my teeth, they hurt more than they did before I started regular care. Kev says that's good, my gums are starting to tighten around my teeth - that's what we want them to do, I guess.
Okay, gonna go - I am anxious to get home and finish working on my tote bag.
It's been real and it's been fun: but it hasn't been real fun. ~
