creative writing.....

I signed up for the creative writing course, oh, about 20 minutes ago. Not as excited anymore, but hopefully the joy will come back soon. Bleh. I hope I do okay on this - I know I can write, I know that I still have a lot to learn - especially structure (and grammar) - but, my problem is that I don't like to have my writing criticized I take great offense to it - even when I know that it's the truth. I just don't take constructive criticism (I really need to learn how to spell that word correctly) very well. Something that I will have to work on.

Went to the post office this morning and mailed out all of my Christmas cards - done. Check.

And then I went next door to the town office and registered my piece-of-poop Focus. At least it's legal now. Even though I have to ride with all of the windows open or I will be overcome by carbon monoxide - which is very f-en cold when it's 36 degrees outside!

I didn't want to suffer alone, shivering and freezing my ass off, so I went by my MIL's house and asked her if she wanted to go for a ride with me. She said 'sure', so, off we went. Misery is always better with company, no?

I had a big fluffy and soft pink scarf and matching hat, so, I was mostly protected (but I forgot my dang gloves), and a hot cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee to warm me insides.

Now I'm home, and I am tired.

Last night we went to my brother's house, because Donnie was going to work on Kev's truck. Kev told me that it would take a couple of hours - 3 at the most. Bull-pucky! They didn't finish the job until 3:00 am! 10 frickin hours! Good thing my brother's girlfriend and I get along so well, because we were stuck with each other's company all night.

On the good side, brother's girlfriend Nikki, was able to help me untangle some of the plot holes from my book.

So, once Kev gets home, we are going to be having cold-cut sandwiches and potato-chips (or Hot Fries in my case) for dinner. Then it's gonna be a really early night for the both of us.

~ catch you on the flip side ~
