the blinking light is driving me crazy!!
I know, short drive, right?

I just sat down to write some on my novel for the NaNoWriMo, and the time just got away from me. Before I knew it, I had written 2,386 words!! And I still am not finished writing for the day - I just needed to take a break, before I went bonkers.
Made the house payment today, now we are only 8 days late on our mortgage. I know that it doesn't sound like a lot, but, it's the difference that can make or break you.
I HAVE kept the fire going today. The den is toasty warm, and Kev will be surprised when he gets home, because I have not been very vigilant about keeping the stove going. There really is a simple explanation - I am the product of three childhood housefires, and I am terrified of fire. I've come a long way, though, I can actually tend to the fire without having a full-blown panic attack THAT'S PROGRESS, RIGHT?
Anyway, kids are home and "mom, we're STARVING!!!" is what I am getting right now. So, I am going to close out this entry.
And I'll catch you on the flip side.
