I can't believe what happened in Dexter, Maine yesterday. Way too close to home - I work in Dexter - both of my kids go to school in Dexter. In fact, the little boy that was killed was in my youngest son's class. We just watched him graduate on Friday.
This was the graduation that the father was upset that he couldn't attend. Imagine if he had showed up at the school and had started shooting. The thought gives me the chills.
The school has grief counselors there for the kids.
How very sad.
