It's a white world afterall
It is so danged cold. Yes, us Mainers are very cold-blooded, but there is only so much chill we can take. At least that's the way that it is with me. My feet are freezing.
Aaron and I are trying like hell to get the woodstove going again - I HATE that woodstove. Sure, I'm not gonna lie, the heat that it puts out is wonderful, albiet a little dry, but I just don't have any luck with keeping the fire going.
Tonight we are going to have the dinner that we normally have on Christmas Eve (pizza & cocoa).
I have to get working on my novel again. I haven't written one single word for almost a month. Bad Amy.
Yesterday at the beach I saw several people that had ski-ing hats with ear flaps. I just don't know what the official word is - I immediately wanted one. They looked like they keep a person's ears very warm - that's the biggest problem I have with outdoor activities, my ears are very sensitive - I get major earaches and headaches.
So, I found a pattern for one and I made it this morning. It came out pretty good. (I also ordered one on eBay - this one is 'lined').
Okay, I need to go get the kitchen cleaned up and get a load of laundry done. Blech.
