better i hope

12/31/2008

I hope things are starting to go a little better. I started my new medicine yesterday, I only take it when I go into an attack which was only once yesterday but it seemed to help a little bit I think so that makes me happy. I noticed a big brown spot on my throat, it worried me at first but I beileve it could be dis-coloration from a peice of jewlery I wore a lot, so I am using some cream on it hoping that takes care of it. My hands are doing better and the lumps are going down, yay!
I wrote a letter to the place I am trying to get my job back at and this is what it says, let me know if i should send it. thanks in advance!
***Everybody deserves a second chance, and I guarantee that ____(company name) would not be disappointed by the decision to re-hire me. When I was previously employed with____, I made some poor choices that I regret deeply. I didn't know how to handle the situation that arose but since I have matured a lot and became an adult. I realize the importance of thinking things through and using better judgment as well as many other things. After being terminated from ____ I missed my job so much that I went to counseling. I feel that it was very successful and helped me learn from my mistakes. While I was employed at ____, I cared about my job very much. If I had known then, what I know now I would have handled my situation in a much more professional manner.
Also, while I was employed by ____, I was dealing with an un-diagnosised medical condition. I felt sick everyday which made the situation even harder to deal with. Finally in Sept 2008 i saw a surgeon and was informed that my gallbladder was only functioning at 7% and normal is 67%, a week later, I had gallbladder surgery at _____. After recovering from surgery, I see my life in a much brighter way and it is a lot easier to deal with things that arise. Since surgery, I fee like I have gotten my life back and no longer have to deal with teh pain on a daily basis. I feel MUCH better and am able to perform job duties in a much better manner.
I believe in working hard and to the best of my ability. I would be dedicated to a job and people I cared so muhc about. I would not be afraid to discuss and work through situations that may arise. If ____ would give me a chance to prove myself, it would be a decision they would never regret.
