Found this old school photo - I look like a girl!!
God, my mum told me she wasn't at all surprised/that I'd wanted to be a girl from the beginning, but I guess I didn't realise how clear it was until I started digging. I always remember kids asking me if I was a boy or a girl, and I remember adults calling me girl-names, you know? Like 'pet', 'honey', 'sweetie', while calling the other boys 'lads' or whatever.
Well, anyway. the flat is really nice. Finally got the internet.
Am a little homesick, but not too badly, because I'm really near home.
I would write more, but it's late, and I'm tired. Just wanted to share my find!!!
Oh, I got my hair done properly - like highlights and straightened and all sorts - it took 2.5 hours. I was about ready to scream! But worth it, looks amazing - makes me feel like a proper girl 
God, went out for a work night on fri, and I think for the first time, I did actually feel quite feminine. I met someone new, called mari, was introduced to her as 'nicola', and she didn't even bat an eyelid, treated me like one of the girls all night, was really cool. I'm feeling good - feel like my real life is finally beginning, and I have so much to look forward to now.
