quick real life update:

• i got my eyebrow pierced last week, on a whim
  
• my mom is flying into cali tomorrow.
• i don't think my mom will be too happy about this piercing
  
• my room is mostly packed up for the move back to TN
• i'm almost done studying for finals
• i decided i'm actually going to miss this place
• i'm pretty damn broke. gotta love holidays 
• i am really interested in vlogs like on youtube...
  has anyone ever done one of these..? what do you think about them...?

california ate my soul alive

my life on the west coast

like a dusty piece of steinbeck's art,

began with a 2000 mile journey
across this country in a          beat up car.

i lost the love i came to save

but the sun still shines here anyway
         everyday.
it        never         goes away.

i spent my days on wharfs and docks

watching ships and boats

&& seagull flocks

the ocean salt, it formed a second skin
covered my body

erased my sins.

i threw my watch into the waves

today, tomorrow, yesterday

all of the sudden it was all the same.

a salty world without any time,

suffocating in endless sunshine..

it      fucking        ate my soul alive.

reality waits on the other side
           of the sierra nevadas
& the continental divide...

its going to eat away at my insides...
its going to fucking eat me alive...
