I am proud of myself because 3 days ago I successfully went up in weights on my bench press and I am now doing more than I ever have done before. Last year I was doing 60 lbs +X. Jan 1 I moved it up to 90 lbs +X and now... 106 lbs +X. (X= weight of the bar) 106 is 2/3rd my weight.
So... YAY! GO ME!

1. "my" Lisa: It's been about 10 years since we last talked. I have no idea what you have been doing or how your life has changed. I think about you and write poems about you and for you and for better or worse, I compare every lady I meet, to you. I only wish you the best. I miss you and will always love you.
(this is my favorite song EVER and has been for at least 20 years now. Songs come and go, but this one will always be my favorite. It reminds me of Lisa)

2. My latest "secret" crush: Thank you to bloop for bringing you into my life and for 5? Years, bringing happiness to my life. We have so much in common I can't stand it. You love baseball like I do.(well, sorta lol) You love Bon Jovi like I do. You are beautiful and caring and fun. You don't think of my blindness negatively like most people do. You love my poetry. I think we could push each other to be the best we can be. Too bad there is a lot of miles and land between us.
Last night, I heard your voice for the first time and I hate to say this, it melted my heart. You have this cute voice to my ears.
However, I promise this, when Bon Jovi comes to your area, me and you, we'll be there just as I described before and if it happens to be during the baseball season, well, that will be another stadium to cross off my list. 3. I am mad at you. We have always gone to a bunch of red sox games together a year. Being the thoughtful cousin I am, I bought 4 tickets for each game so we can take your son and either a friend of his or a friend of yours to some games. After I bought 13 games at 4 tickets per, you go and buy your own 4 games with 2 tickets each for you and your son or you and a friend. So I am left with all these tickets and scrambling to find people to go with.
4. Thank you Lisa for allowing me to come down and hang out with you and your little family for a few days. I know it was a change of pase for you and you enjoyed it too but for me, it was a break from life, from reality and everything. Sharing stories was really an eye opener to the world of real life GI JOE. You are a brave soul and a true hero. LOVE YOU!
PS. I will defanately be back next year to capture Houston's minutemaid stadium
