68 years, Happy anniversary

My grand parents, my Nanna and Par selebrated their 68th anniversary today.

Can you even imagine that?
Being with the same person with a ring for 68 years? Even if I double my life it wouldnt even be that long.

There was 11 of us. My grand parents, my parents, myself and my sister, my twin and his wife, my cousin Heidi, her mom (my aunt Sarah) and her son Jalen. My older brother made some really bad excuse about not being able to make it even though these plans were made 6 weeks ago.

My mom made a dinner like you would not believe.
First was an antipasto and schrimp scampi.
Next was a salad

Chicken palm and chicken cutlets, Lasagna, Penne, meatballs, and my mom made her own pasta that is gluton free and grilled chicken. Did I mentioned grilled veggies? hmm not sure when but she put those out too.

Dessert
Coffee or tea, a chocolate cake, brownies and white italian cookies.

We had bought cards and that was all they wanted. They enjoyed the lovely and thoughtful cards

Although my par is starting to lose it, my nanna, bless her soul. 92 years old, she is diabetic and she smokes and she still is doing very well.

She said to me, "so we have a big game tomorrow night" I am glad I was on my toes. She was talking about the Celtics and how they are on a 12 game winning streek. I love my nanna. She is such a Celtics and Red Sox nut.

Today was the culmination of the last 4 months of what I have been working on at work with my clients.

4 months ago, they could not even write a few scentances together that had anything to do with each other.
Today, my clients wrote letters to my boss, the one who runs the house who is on maturnative leave, to let them know how they are doing and to let them know they are thinking of her and hopes she and her new born are doing well.

I was beeming with joy
Although only 2 clients partisapated, the two who did, did very well. I am very impressed.

Tomorrow I will print out my own letter and put them all in an emvalope and mail them off to her and she'll get it on or before Christmas day.

The membership options start at 14 dollars and run up to 300 dollars. I bought the membership that cost 60 but because I am a returning member (7 years running) I got 10 dollars off.

You maybe thinking why I would want this. It doesnt come with a ticket?

The Chicago Cubs are coming to Boston on May 20-22 for the first time since the 1918 world series and this will be the most sought after ticket since the world series game of 2004.
I will have an opritunity to purchase up to 4 tickets for a game verses the cubs.
