Hi people, The last few days we have had horible weather. It has been non-stop rain. Yesterday alone we got 1.27 intches of rain but with high winds of 50-70 mph. There were many power lines down, electricity going out and trees coming down. My house got both. I was watching a basketball game with my mom in my kitchen, when about 9;30 my mom and I heard a loud crash. A tree from our backyard had come down on the back of the house. I'm not sure the extent of the damage yet but if there is any, it is external and not internal. We are very very lucky. However, about 10;45 the lights went out. It did not come back on till about 5AM. So it was a pretty uneasy evening along with the Boston Celtics having a 13 point lead and ended up losing by 20.
Since there was no electrisity I could not use my computer. So, I went to bed. Between 11;30-2;30 I woke up twice and then a 3rd time at 2;30 and wide awake. I tried everything to go back to sleep... that I could. Tried to use my computer, figured out the electricty had not returned. Listened to my xm for a few minutes, but since my bedroom is half under ground, the reception was spoty. Especially not being able to use the wire thingy. I also listened to music for about an hour. Then I got hungry so went up stairs and spreaded some peanutbutter on some fresh roles. My dad was up and came to say high and to inform me the light are back on... (aka, I can use my computer)

I love dreams most of the time because I can see in my dreams and not just shadows or black-white, I can see like I saw 20 years ago. A dream I had last night, I loved but would have loved more if I had not woke up.
My mom and I went to Cincinatti Ohio. We took a plane and we got off, walked down the corridor of the airport and it was night time, there was a lot of people around. Just like a normal big city. We went across the street to an arena. We were going to see Bon Jovi. I had to use the bathroom so my mom guided me to the door and some tall well built hispanic guy assisted me to a bathroom stall. I was able to find my way out of the bathroom. The guy who assisted me and a friend of his was near the sinks and playing a radeo that had an R&B song on to which they were dancing to. I waved at them as I was passing by and thanked the guy for helping me. I used my cain and trailed a wall to the door where I opened it, my mom saying "you all set?" and then waking up.
Sure would have loved to be at that concert.

My entire weekend was planned around my cousin Hayley coming from NJ for my birthday. Friday night we were going to go see some R&B band my mom is friends with the lead singer's girlfriend. Saturday night we were going to go out, myself, Hayley my best friend and his wife for dinner and probably icecream. Sunday down to my twin's area for lunch at a restaurant and back to his house for cake and presents, so Hayley could see his house.
Hayley called me and left me a message last night. ( I actually think it was the same time as the tree coming down) She said because of the snow in NJ, she wont be able to make it this weekend. She felt really bad and she actually sounded like she wanted to cry.
So now? now I dont know what I am doing. The only reason we're going to Justin's area was so Hayley could check out his house and plus she would be that much closer to NJ. Saturday, I'll still go out with my best and his wife and maybe the baby, but it wont be the same. Friday night. I will go to temple with my mom to selebrate a Jewish Holiday but after that, probably come home and listen to a basketball game. I would rather go out, but I'm not going to go just with my mom.
So I hope the house is not too badly damaged, I am looking forward to seeing Bon Jovi late this month in CT that my mom is now wishing she didnt agree to go as it is only a few days before Passover. But I dont have any friends who like Bon Jovi. Never mind seeing him in a different state. Hayley will be up for Passoverso that will be fun but we wont be able to go out to eat though as I keep Koasha.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I'll prob update sunday late night after my birthday is over. |
