A Walk

I took a walk along the beach
Wanted to get an ice cream, maybe peach
The sun is shining high in the sky
The air is feeling a bit dry
The ocean ebbs and flows
Beautiful people laying on the white sand in rows
Little children playing in the sand
Building castles with their little hands
Cars stroling along with their tops down
Maybe heading to town
The ice cream shop is busy today
Pondering to move on or to stay
The ice cream would be cold and taste good
But to stand here in the heat, not sure I could
I look up and see a sign
One that is very inviting to my kind
I walk ahead to the lemonaide stand
It’s called lemon land
I only have to wait a couple before I get mine
This will be fine
I pay the girl
She has the most beautiful smile in the entire world
I smile back
She asks for my number, I think I just had a heart attack
