I was going door to door
Trying to find opritunity or
Something more

I came across a door which read employment
I knocked, I wasn’t going to be content
I wanted a job
I have a degree, I’m not just some slob
There are many things I can do
I just don’t know where to look, I just need to find the right avenue
I need money to pay my bills
There aint no money pill

I came across a door which read love
I knocked on it, looking for more than just a hug
I am looking for my soulmate
I will first take her on a nice date
We can chat and get to know each other
Find out if she has any sisters or brothers
I would want to know about her career
What company she works for and if she likes it there
I knock again on the door
I’m not looking for a whore
I want a woman who will be my wife
A lover and a best friend for life

I was going door to door

Something more

I sit on the ground
I look around
Doors are opening for others but not for me
I wonder why? Wonder if it is because I can not see?

I Just know eventually one of the doors will open
I will find a nice job and a special lady and then
I wont feel like a third wheel
I wont have to make any deals
My life will be real
