Thursday
My parents dropped me off at the bus terminal at 11;30 and got to new york about 4pm. Nikki had to finish up things at her office so she was a little late but not bad. We got in and she ran out to pick up dinner. She was tired from a long week and so wasn’t I after a long bus ride with the batteries dying in my Diskman after an hour of the trip. We had some amazing sex bookended with cuddling. She was watching TBS and I was following the Celtics lakers game on my computer. We had more sex, more cuddling before we went to sleep.
Friday
Nikki went to work and I was able to pick up an internet connection for a little bit and around 10AM, went back to sleep. I woke about 1;30, where I watched some tv and got ready for the evening. I bought two tickets from someone on ebay for under ticket value. I was wicked excited about the game. It’s the Boston Celtics vs the New York Knicks not to mention my first basketball game of the season. (I usually attend about 7 games a year but saving for baseball tickets) . I put on my Paul Pierse Jersey and now all that was left was to count down the time. Nikki was running a bit late but that was ok because we had plenty of time to get to the game. We took a cab and stopped at BK for a quick bite. I don’t get BK offen so it tasted extra good to me. We got into the arrina and now I am really excited. We took our seats and when Nikki explained to me where our seats were, I was shocked. We were nearly right there. These were awesome seats. Over hearing conversations I knew I was in a fun sections. We had a few other Boston fans around us and during the game although it made it a bit confusing at times, I was happy that about 10 percent of the croud was for boston. Before the game started Nikki went to the bathroom and about a minute later, they announced the starting lineup. I was sad for Nikki that she wouldn’t get to hear her boy, Ray Allan’s name get called but on her return, she did tell me that she waited in the hall to hear Allan’s name called before proceeding. The game was a good one. It was close for the first 3 and a half quarters when Ray Allan and Eddie House took over the game with 3 pointers and great team defense. Nikki did a good job of tell me what was going on. She just needs to work on the highlight type plays. The place goes crazy and all she says is(name of player) scores. OH, hehe and when Ray Allan gets a basket. She is screeming but I don’t know what happened. I’m thinking it was an unbelievable play when it was just Ray getting a layup. Anywho, the game was over when Eddie House drained a 3 with 4 minutes to go to put the Celtics up by 9. A lot of the Knicks fans got going and the Boston fans cheered loudly as the last minutes were ticking off the clock.

After the game while waiting for the elevator, a woman noticed my Celtics jersey and started talking to Nikki. She got onto the elevator with us and she included me in on the conversation. She was a cool lady. Every time she went to say something to me, she would touch my shoulder. She was a Boston fan. She even goes to RedSox games. We talked a few seconds about the redsox. As we got off the elevator and saying bye to eachother she said “maybe we’ll see eavh other at Fenway”. Right, and the odds of ever seeing her again?
Nikki and I went to Apple Bees for a real dinner. I wasn’t so hungry though and ordered a salad. The waiter first told me that they didn’t have just a salad and told me alllll the types of salads they had. Nikki told the guy, no, he just wants a salad. He argued more by saying that it wouldn’t be enough and that I should get something else with it. Again nikki said that I just wanted a salad he said that he’d let us look over the menu some more and walked away. I said something about that we’re not giving this guy any tip. I did end up getting a salad and Nikki a burger. I was going to stay for a drink but because of the jerk of a waiter, I chose not to. Then the bill came and I was furious. There was a 17 percent tip already added to the bill. I did not pay a dollar over it. We went back to the room and relaxed. Nikki watched some tv before we cuddled and had some fun before cuddling and falling asleep.
Saturday
We made plans to meet up with my uncle Joe who isn’t my real uncle but my mom’s best guy friend. We were going with his neffew Richard and Richard’s parter, Adam. We went for an 1pm brunch. I got a burger while everyone else got breakfast. It was fun. A lot of talk about NY politics and sports. After brunch, we were going to go back to the room, relax, and than go out for dinner.
Unfortunately, Nikki wasn’t feeling well and as the hours past, she felt worse.
We did order in food that she made a great suggian on. It was a Texas stake place. I was a bit skeptical on how good it would be but it turned out to be very good. I got buffalow wings, a salad and coldslaw. I don’t remember what Nikki got but it was a combo dish. There was some congress hearing on and Nikki watched that while I was on my computer. I eventually gave her a back rub and that turned into cuddling which turned into fun stuff. We tried some different things that was hmm we’ll try again. As the night got late, Nikki was getting sad because when we wake, I’ll have to go. It wont be till my birthday till we get to see each other again. I held her and tried to make her feel not so sad. She had been in terrible pain and so much so, she got sick in the early morning.
Sunday
We woke up a bit late but enough that we didn’t have to super rush. I took a shower than her. I packed up and went around the room picking things up. I put her stuff in one pile as I put my stuff in my suit case. When we were all packed up, we headed out. We grabbed a cab and went to the bus station. I grabbed a bagle and she got a drink. We went to the information desk and they called for assistance for me. We got to the waiting area and Nikki said by to me at that point. She was going to the hospital to get checked out. She is not doing well and even after 12 hours in the ER, I was notsatisfied with the result. She is going to see a specialist tomorrow, Tuesday. Hopefully they will give her a diagnosis that we can be satisfied with along with proper medication.
We are going to see each other next for my birthday at the end of the month.
Till then, we’ll be lonely.
