Last night, May 3rd, 2011, a baseball rarity occured.
Minasoda Twin's pitcher, Fransisco Lariano pitched a no hitter against the Chicago White sox.
It was only the 270th in Major League Baseball history, dating back to 1876.
He pitched 9 innings, no hits, 6 walks, and only 2 strike outs. It was not a pretty no hitter but a no hitter after all.
On the same night, Los Angeles Dodger's Andre Ethier, got a hit in his 28th consecutive game.
He is exactly half way to Joe D's amazing 56 consecutive hit game streek.
Yesterday was also my nanna's 92nd b day!
My mom and I took her out for lunch. My Nanna wanted a BLT and a BLT is what she got with a cup of clam chowdah. (notice the Bostonian spelling lol)
She had asked me if I watched the game the night before. I said yes, she said wasnt it a beauty? I said ... you watched it? the entire game? (the game got over about 11pm) "I sure did"
