It was a really crazy day. Very sad in many ways.
First, my dad got a phone call at 5AM from where my grand parents live. My grand mother fell and broke her hip. She had surgery later in the day and the doctor said she will be alright with two weeks of rehab and he strongly recogmends she use a cane. We have been telling her for a few years now. She says that using a cane makes her look old. (um, she is 91 years old, she doesnt want to look old. she also lives in an assisted living which she did not want to go to because the people who live there are old.
Now, this is less than 2 years from when my grand father fell and broke his hip. Needless to say, my father is overwelmed with stress and aggervation.
WORK = MORE sad times.
Tuesday night, a client was not doing well mentally. We had the emergency team come in to evaluate him. They did not have a bed right away for him so they decided to let him stay the night and they would follow up in the morning. The director of the house was not happy with this, she felt that he should be admitted to the hospital anyways. So 7Am Wednesday morning he gets up and walks away. We have no idea where he is. This particular client has schizophrenia and has a history of cutting. I am informed of this via email in the morning. I head to work and my boss is there but the 3-11 shift guy is not. The person who hands out the med in the evening is there, and does well at that, but is not the best at understanding-comprehending english. So I getin and my boss, between worrying about the client, worrying and calling the staff member, and not happy with the emergency team from the night before, I swear, she was just stressed out. She also has another house she has to cover. Eventually they get in touch with the staff member and he was home. No idea what was up with that. So my boss leaves and within five minutes she calls, asking to talk to me. So I get on the phone and asks if I could take note of, and email her, the exact time the staff member comes in. I say sure. She said "Jonathan, thank you so much" she was defanately on the verge of teers. So the staff member comes in about 4;30ish.
The client actually calls the group home and talks to a staff member. He says that he is at his mother's house, he is ok now and no longer needs to take meds and that he is going to move back in with his mother. (who is 86 years old) His mother sides with him saying that it is ok.
The brother gets on the phone, we tell him to keep the client there and we are going to send an amblings for him to be taken to the emergency room.
In the mean time, I ran a group. The boss asked me to develop a document that in her words "lets the clients know that we discurage asking for and borrowing of money and cigarets from other clients." I write it up. Make it look all official and everything. have her print it out and I went over it with the clients and had them sign it.
Thanks given
It is the first turkey day we are having at my twin's and his wife's house. There will be 13 of us or so. Friends of Justin's from u-mia are up from FL to spend the long week with them. Another friend of his, who followed my brother from u-mia to live in Boston, is coming with his special friend. It is this girl who comes from a very very rich family, (actually, she is from u-mia too) who live in NY and I think is head over heals for him but he has no interest.
Can not wait to see the drauma that goes down.
I'll probably miss it. I will be in the living room watching football with the guys.

I am thankful for the RedSox t-jerseys that keep me comfortable all year round.
I am thankful for Bon Jovi music, to relax my mind, my body and my soul. ... unless the times where it GETS ME PUMPED UP AND EXCITED! MAKING MY HEART RACE!
I am Thankful for baseball. I do not have the time or the writing space to explain that one.
I am thankful for the God Given talent to write poetry. (People say that my poetry is actually good)
I am thankful for you, my bloop buddies for letting me share my (writing in progress) autobiography and giving me feedback as well as letting me get a sneek peak of your own autobiography.

"I hope you enjoy it."
[Starts playing]
Love to eat turkey
Love to eat turkey
[Shout from Crowd:] "I love you Adam!"
[Adam Sandler:] "Ohhh, I love you!"
Love to eat turkey
'Cause it's good
Love to eat turkey
Like a good boy should
'Cause it's turkey to eat
So good
[Adam Sandler:] "That clappin's messing my head up man. I appreciate it.
But I was trying to think of the next line and all I hear is clapping.
Here we go... Thanks anyways"
Turkey for me
Turkey for you
Let's eat the turkey
In my big brown shoe
Love to eat the turkey
At the table
I once saw a movie
With Betty Grable
Eat that turkey
All night long
Fifty million Elvis fans
Can't be wrong
Turkey lurkey doo and
Turkey lurkey dap
I eat that turkey
Then I take a nap
Thanksgiving is a special night
Jimmy Walker used to say Dynomite
That's right
Turkey with gravy and cranberry
Can't believe the Mets traded Darryl Strawberry
Turkey for you and
Turkey for me
Can't believe Tyson
Gave that girl V.D.
White meat, dark meat
You just can't lose
I fell off my moped
And I got a bruise
Turkey in the oven
And the buns in the toaster
I'll never take down
My Cheryl Tiegs poster
Wrap the turkey up
In aluminum foil
My brother likes to masturbate
With baby oil
Turkey and sweet potato pie
Sammy Davis Jr.
Only had one eye
Turkey for the girls and
Turkey for the boys
My favorite kind of pants
Are corduroys
Gobble gobble goo and
Gobble gobble gickel
I wish turkey
Only cost a nickel
Oh I love turkey on Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
