Hello July. I love this land

07/02/2012

HI all my wonderful, fabulous, beautiful, smart, bloop buddies. Well, my bag is packed and when I wake up in the morning, I'll be heading to year 30 with my family for the 4th of July to Gloucester.

I dont want to get anyone too excited but I had emailed a lady on jdate about a month ago and she wrote back to me yesterday. She gave me her number and siad I could text her, I wrote saying i dont do text how about email. She gave her her email address. hmm So she's Jewish, she's a school guidance counselor and she likes sports, mostly basketball and she loves chinese food. Her fav place is actually within a few mins walking distance from my house. hmm so we'll see how that goes.

The 4th of July has a little more meaning to me the last few years with spending time with TX Lisa and hearing her real life GI JOE war stories. I am proud to be an American. I love the USA and all the rights and ffreedom I have. So come the 4th of July, I will smile a bit more and be a little more thankful for having my indipendance.

God Bless The USA
by Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I'd worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.

I'd thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can't take that away.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.

That I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
