I love parties! (small edit)

06/26/2011

Tonight was my cousin heidi's 40th b day party.

We had it in a little hall.
The theme of the party was... "cougars by the sea"

So most of the ladies wore dresses with animal prints and I wore (and I guess most of the guys wore) shirts with like a junglish print. It was a light blue.

My older brother, he's the selfish, egocentric type... He went to the party only because I told him he could DJ. I was not sure what to expect but he impressed me. He brought 2 5ft speakers and had the music already to go with RNB -hip hop music. (just as Heidi likes)

Everyone brought food. There was so much food but there was a lot of it eaten too.

Milan, Heidi's friend and x sis in law, was the one who put this party together and she did a great job.
Milan's sis in law Rachel, she brought jello shots... HELLO JONATHAN!
So first my mom brought me over 4 of them. My dad brought me 2 more later and my cousin Hayley from NJ who drove up for the party, I asked if she could get me more. I was telling her I had six so far, she thought I said I want six more. so... she brought me 6 more. and then later after that, Milan came by with two for me because she knows i loves them. so that means, Jonathan had 14 jello shots woo!

And then... I was ready to dance and dance I did!
I danced with my cousin Heidi, my cousin Hayley, Milan and one other lady.

***Being blind has it's advantages and disadvantages. I dont like dancing without holding someone, it makes me feel like I am the only one on the floor. At least when I am holding a lady and dancing, I know I'm not the only one plus I can twerl the girl, and twerl myself he he, and see how low she can go and all that...

SO! I was standing there, dancing by myself, when appeared in my mind Lisa.
Not tx Lisa, but the love of my life Lisa. I just stopped and did this half smile. A few seconds later my mom noticed me and said "whats wrong?" I said "nothing" and continued dancing by myself.
I saw Lisa one more time in my mind and thought of Lisa one more times during the party. Lisa will always have a special place in my heart***

Times like this I wish I had a special lady who would dance with me all night long because I didnt want to get off that floor!

It was a great party and really fun.
Even though she wont read this... HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI! LOVE YA CUZ!

***********

In other news, my sister's professional woman's football team, the Boston Militia, went to DC tonight and won!
So they're going to the eastern final and if they win that, they will be going back to tx to try for back-to-back championships!
3 years ago, they lost in the eastern final on a last second play and that was the only lost of that season and in the last 3 seasons, (this one included) they only lost that one game. They are currently undefeated.

I really really want to go to chicago.
When I got the email from my sister when I got home tonight, I looked at the white sox schedule and they're playing a home game that weekend and the following day, the sunday, it's a day game. Unfortunately, I dont have anyone to go with. ... sure would be nice to have a special lady to go do things with. (my friends dont like sports, I know, go figure)

Any lady want to spend a few days in Chicago with me seeing a porfesionla woman's football game and a white sox game? They're playing the twins.
