I’ll play this guitar for some money
7-7-13
By Jonathan

I’m down on myself today
My life is like the bottom of my jeans, they’re frayed
I got this old guitar which I got for Christmas in 1995
It’s the only thing that keeps me alive

Each night I sit on the corner street
Play my guitar, hope to get enough money to eat
I find a bench in the park to sleep
Pray the lord, my soul to keep

A prostitute tries to sell herself for some money
A guy talks to Jesus, I think he’s crazy
We pray the police don’t take us away
They don’t understand our way

7-7? Either you forgot it's August/made a typo, or you wrote this a month ago. I like it though

I don't know what they did to bloop, but don't know how to edit an entry. they took away the edit button...or I don't know where it is. I posted this and then realized the typo
