So I went to see boyz2men for the 6th time.
They sure know how to get the croud going.
They did a lot of talking between songs but it was pretty awesome. They are so appreciate of the fans.
They gave history of song songs and some albumbs.
They mentioned how "there are probably some Boyz2men babies in the croud... if you know what I mean." then they sang "I'll make love to you" they sang a lot of their hits, I'll list the ones I remember later. I think it was during "I'll make love to you" they through roses into the croud. the women went crazy over that.
There was a song they sang, "On bended knee"
I was standing up, I had my arms crossed and in front of me, as if I was holding someone when "SHE" popped into my mind. Some teers fell as I imagined holding her in my arms and dancing to that song. It felt so real. *sad face* I felt-feel so lonely.
*Iris (googoodolls)
Motown philli
Doing just fine
On bended knee
Water runs dry
I'll make love to you
End of the road
NOTE: at the end, I told my mom "one more song" They didnt play "it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday"... but that was, the end. They never sang it.
I'll have to do some googling, Base, one of the members, was not there and they didnt mention him at all. In the song motwonphilli, they skipped over the verse that goes "4 guys at the scene, only one came up to me, I said what's your name, boyz2men, eh"
Even his verse in end of the road, they totally skipped over.
I know he had that desease where your spine curves, so even if he is not well or has passed on, I would have thought they would give a shout out of some type.
I love my mom and I am thankful for having a awesome and cool mom to go to see boyz2men with me and Bon jovi and blessid union of souls etc. but I rather go with a special lady so I dont have to pretend Lisa is there. |
