Life’s dance

Life's a dance. You learn as you go.
Sometimes the song goes fast, sometimes slow.
You never know
You’ll find a dancing partner, You’ll do the electric slide
Maybe the YMCA or the train, let them be your guide
You can sit out for a song or two, just don’t hide
There will be many dancing partners to choose from
There will be a variety of beats of drums
You may be smart, you may be dumb
You will break dance, you will be a star
Don’t do it for too long though, you won’t get too far
No one likes a self centered showboat, you would be your own czar
You may find yourself dancing alone
Having a floor of your own
The song will have no rhythm, your dancing will be monotone
Don’t get depressed, don’t frown
Dancing by yourself is not fun, but don’t get down
You will be called to dance in town
You will hear your song
You will find your life dancing partner who will come along
Dancing so passionately, dancing strong
It feels so right, there’s nothing wrong
You will dance on all the floors
You will dance carefree in the rain outdoors
Up and down all the corridors
Dancing with the one you adore
You will dance in bed
Dance like you dreamed in your head
Enjoy all that light red
You never know when you’ll be doing something else instead
