more stress, hope I don't break. G2 sox game

10/06/2013

So I still have not heard from Karen. The trial is starting this week. I never got anywhere with the ToysR US thing and now yesterday's stress?

I woke up and I felt what I thought was a pimple under my arm and I didn't think much about it. However, when I got in the shower and felt it a bit more, it was defanately a lot more than a pimple. I went up stairs, well, I was all nervous, I thought the worst, my dad had cancer and my mom's sister had cancer too. Eventually I went up stairs to have my dad look at it. But how do you bring that up with someone? So I stood in the doorway of the kitchen. He started to tell me about his previous night out told me about his plans for the day, amd how we are going out for dinner with my twin his wife and my nephew. Eventually I said to him that I wanted to show him something. I explained about how I thought it was a pimple but it's defanately more than that. I showed him. He said he sees it. It looks redish and there's a rash around it. Eventually he said he would call the doc to see if I could get in to see him. My doc wasn't in but there was another doc in. They had a 3pm opening. I said in my head, that figures, the exact time the first RedSox playoff game for 2013 would start.

So my father and I had over. The nurse checks my blood pressure and of course it's a little high, I was at the hospital. took my weight. It was like 1 LB from the last time I weighedin but I'm pretty sure having all my clothes on, including my sneakers and my wallet-phone and deorderant in my pocket made up for some of that. We were lead ito the do's office. We had to wait about 8 minutes. This tall thin (my dad's description was she looks like she eats at a whole food store) young female doctor with a pleasant voice came in. She introduced herself. She asked about deorderat. I told her I started on a new one about 2 weeks ago because the last one I had, Axs, was giving me a rash. I took ou the deorderant I use now, and handed it to her. She read the label. She looked at my arm. She poked and rubbed it. Looked under my othr arm. She told me that she thinks it's that I am sensitive to deorderants with anti persperants. She explained that anti persperants has some weird things in it including...plastic. This plastic can block the pores and so the sweat and other chemicles are not released from the body and can cause a cyst. She told me not to wear any deorderant for a few days. Put a hot wet compress on it a few ties a day and to buy a deodorant that does not have anti persperant in it. Told me a few brans and said you can get it at a CVS, wallgreens or at a health store like wole food. She said if the cyst gets bigger or more painful to come back in and we'll have to (and told me what they would do but it was grose to me so I blocked it out lol)

so...we'll see what happens.

******
last night I went to a Red Sox playoff game. it was really fun. I went with my buddy Zac.
It was John Lackey vs David Price. We sat in the right field bleachers. great seats.
We ended up winning 7-4 with the help of 2 David Ortiz home runs and some great base running and timely hits. Stephen Drew got his first hit off of Price, he was previously 0-11 before he hit a triple off the wall. Lackey was not at his best but kept us in the game and the bullpin with the help of two double plays and Coji shutting them down in the 9th on 11 opitches...THE RED SOX WIN!

The Red Sox are up 2 games to 0 in a bes of 5 with the series heading to Tampa. So we just need 1 win and we move on to the American league championship series. GO RED SOX!

I had a similar issue in my left arm pit, only it started when I was 14 or 15. I was told by someone (I can't remember who) that it looks like a cyst, which my brother gets all the time, so I never did anything about it. This year it abscessed, which is disgusting, and they did to it what I'm pretty sure they told you they'd do lol. It didn't heal correctly and they said it was because the mass from my clogged sweat gland, and I ended up getting surgery to remove it :/.

I'm glad you went to the doctor right away and I hope that it heals quickly (:

Mitch can't use antiperspirants for the same reason. He just uses regular deodorant and is fine. I'm glad they're gonna keep an eye on it though just in case!
