Hi people, non-sports lovers can skip the first section.
I went to my second redsox game of the season on Wednesday night with my cousin Heidi, her son Jalen and his friend Geavani. We had upper bleacher seats. They were great. It was a back-forth game between the Boston RedSox and the Texas Rangers. It ended up going into extra innings tied at 7 when Youkalus hit a walk off game winning home run.
NFL DRAFT
I am excited the patriots picked a bunch of defensive players since a lot of their old defensive stars from the championship years left in the last two years. I am especially excited about the two back-back picks in the second round, both players from my college team UF Gators. They also landing a 6-6 260 lbs monster of a TE. He should help the o big time right away.
My favorite team: I am thrilled the SF 49ers drafted two offensive linemen with their two first round picks. Last few years they could not pretect the qb from taking hits. They also got a steal with a defensive player from USC, Taylor May, who was projected to go as high as mid-first round, falling all the way to mid-2nd round.
Other notes: UF qb, Tim Tebbo was drafted curiously by Denver who just traded for a qb two months ago and already have a surviceable qb. So on one hand, I am happy for a kid I have followed for the last 4 years as he matured and grew to be picked in the first round how ever I hope he gets a chance to develope and Denver didnt waist a pick on him.
IRISH qb: Jimmy clawson, who is the most ready qb in the draft, fell way down to the second round to a perfect first in Carolinia. They have the same offense as the Irish had so he can just step right in and play.
Texas's QB Mccoy fell even further. He fell to the 3rd round where he was picked by the browns. Once again, a perfect fit. The browns traded for a veteran who he can learn under for the next year or two and then step in and be a great qb for many years.
The Boston Celtics are up on the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs, 3-0
The Boston Bruins are up on buffalow in the NHL first round 3-2

In the Jewish religion there is a very special ceremony where a baby girl recieves her Hebrew name. (for a boy, it's part of the bris) They are usually named after deceased family members.
My NJ cousin Hayley, who is getting married later this year, wants to have an official ceremony to be given a Jewish name. She is named after her cousin Harry and her uncle sam. Her name is Hayley Sue. Her father did not believe in the woman's movement and that a woman's place is to keep the home and the family. So she never had an official naming.
Next week, Hayley is going to have her naming. When we were talking on the phone last week, she had mentioned that she would love for me to be there but "It's not like you are down the street from me." I thought about it and here is part of an email I sent to her:
I talked to my parents. My father's birthday is the 29th. I'm not doing anything that weekend. I would be honored if I could be standing beside you (or
sitting in the congregation) when you are being named. I know you said "it's not like you are next door" but I am just a bus ride away and I really want to be there. So, if it is no inconvenience, may I invite myself? Â
Her reply: OMG! Really?? That would be sooo awesome! Of course you can invite yourself! I would be so honored.Â
So, next Friday, I'm heading to the great state of NJ. The home of the greatest band ever... and no I'm not talking about THE BOSS, as well as a dear friend from here and not to mention, AC.
We talked on Thursday night before her Thursday night shows started and you talk about how happy she is that I'm going down? you'd think she was a little girl finding a puppy under a christmas tree. This 38 year old woman screached twice while on the phone with me.
Another dagger in my heart

Staring out the window listening to the waves crash the shore
I always thought my self a dreamer but this evening I am not so sure
Another dagger in my heart, put there by a beautiful woman
How many more can I withstand?
I took this lady out for a nice dinner
I tried to be a gentleman, I liked her
She is beautiful, smart and caring
We were talking and laughing
I thought everything went well
Maybe I should just burn in hell
Getting up from my desk that over looks the beach
I got to stop going for women who are Out of my reach
