*An email I sent out early this morning*
Hello friends and family.
Today starts a new season for our beloved Boston RedSox. As I get ready, getting my David Ortiz jersey from the closet, getting my bag of peanuts that was donated to me by the Texas Rode House, and sitting in my authentic Fenway Park chairs in my room, I wonder what this year will bring.
Will our new president truly bridge the gap between the parties? Will our world wide economic crisis be fixed? Will there be some new great invention that will make our lives easier? How will we become greener? Will I be able to find a full time job? Will someone have a baby this year? Will someone get a new puppy? Will someone move into a new house? Will I visit a new stadium? Will I get to see Bon Jovi enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame live? Will I move? Will I go back to school and start on another degree?
I have a lot of questions as this 2009 season is finally upon us. However, I will put all those questions aside and listen as Fenway Park will open it's doors for the 98th season today at 2PM.
I am truly happy today
GO REDSOX!
PLAY BALL!
