So as most of you know, I joined fb last month and that was a huge milestone for me.
Well, today I took another mile stone with the help of a few fabulous blind people I know who kept pushing me and pushing me to join... skype.
ok, so it actually wasnt any of them but another blind lady who I met last month, She told me that I dont need a mic. I was always under the impression I need to go buy a mic. Being the Cheap Jew I am (or good finance man) I didnt want to spend the 20 bucks to buy one.
This lady told me that the mic I have internally in my computer would work for skype and I dont need to buy a mic.
She then walked me through the process of signing up, dl'ing and figuring out all the options to get the best sound quality out of it.
so if anyone is interested in talking via skype, let me know.
