I was waiting till tonight to write this entry but I didnt know it was going to end up the way today did.

As some of you know, my sister plays professional women's football.
Last year they went to Auston for the Superbowl, ending the season undefeated... and I went with my twin to the game.

This year, heading into the playoffs the Boston Militia were 7-1? and got a spot in the playoffs. They won the first two games, both away games. This week, they had a home game against the undefeated Indy Crash for the rights to the superbowl which would be held in Dallas.

The coin toss went to the Militia and except for a few sloppy plays, little else went wrong.
At the end of the first quarter it was Boston 20 Indy 0. At the end of the half, Boston 39 Indy 6 No one scored in the 3rd but the final score...
Boston 46 Indy 18

WE'RE GOING TO THE SHIP! YA! WE'RE GOING TO THE SHIP!

My sister told Lisa (my best friend's sister who I visited two months ago) that if they win, they're going to Dallas and she would hope that I would go down and that my sister would also get to see Lisa's baby. Lisa informed us that it has been 100 for over a week in a row down there and so she thinks I would melt so I wouldnt want to go down. I told her that with plenty of water, gatoraide and love, I will survive. So a few days ago, I looked at flights and south west during the week is as low as 89 dollars each way but the weekend is 300 each way.

So when I got out of the game tonight, I called Lisa and she was thrilled!
She said my bedroom is ready for when ever I come down.

So Sunday, (today now lol as I am writing this through the midnight hour) I will talk to Lisa about flight times and ... I'm going "deep in the heart of texas!"

TEERS OF JOY!

So as some of you know, my sister has a girlfriend. My parents dont aprove at all of my sister's sexuality? and although her partner is a pretty cool lady, they do not treat her as anything more than hmm I dont know. They are just very disaproving of the entire thing.

So tonight, after the game the team went to a restaurant to selebrate. My parents and I went but were not going to stay, we just wanted to congraduate my sister. (the restaurant is a bar-restaurant with "loud" "banging" music that my father doesnt appreciate.

Amanda, my sister, walked out with my parents and and I. My father went to go get the car.

My sister said to my mom "I have something to tell you." and in a soft voice my sister said
"Staci proposed to me last night" in a blank tone my mom said "ok"
I had the biggest smile I could posible have. I was so excited for my sister.
She saw my smile and said "you'll smiling, did you hear what I said to mom?" I just nodded my head.

My father pulls up and A friend of Amanda's walked over and said hi. She said that she would be over to tell dad in a moment.

Amanda came over to the car and said to my dad "I want to tell you that Staci proposed to me last night" In a even more far away blank tone my father said "ok" Amanda said "what? what did you want me to say? I just want you to be happy for me" my mom said "I just hope you are happy" "are you happy?" (Not sure if she walked away or whispered something than walked away)

I sent my sister an email-text that said "call me when you are not busy" (this was about 11;38pm) She called me back within 5 minutes.

I said to her "congradulations" she said thank you. I asked what happened?

She said that last night she and Staci drove to winthrup over looking the water where the planes fly over head. and after talking for a little bit Staci turned to my sister said "Will you marry me. Will you be with my for the rest of my life" and my sister said "yes" Staci then pulled out a ring and said "will you wear this?" My sister said said yes.

I had teers of joy in my eyes hearing that beautiful story.

A few minutes after I got off the phone, I sent Staci a fb private message congradulating her and telling her that I am happy for her and my sister.
