last night I learned more about my cousin Michael's situation.
I'll write what I know then I'll paste an article from a boston news paper.
Michael was hoasting a party where people were doing crystal Meth. One of the side effects of Meth is paranoia. One of the guys heard something outside so went out with his gun to see who it was. A few moments later, my cousin went out with his gun. He saw someone outside and shot at the guy. The other guy shot back. My cousin hit the other person in the torsle and the other guy got my cousin in the arm. My cousin ran to his x wife's place that was only a few streets away and passed out.
Michael had surgery but they could not get the bullet out of his arm. If they did, they would do more damage.

A Middleton shooting that put two men in the hospital early Sunday was a beef between motorcycle gang members, prosecutors said.
Michael MacMullen, 24, of Middleton, was arraigned in his hospital bed at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington this afternoon on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to murder, and firing a gun within 500 feet of a dwelling.
MacMullen shot fellow Red Devil motorcycle club member Kevin Wolff, 28, twice in the torso Sunday morning in the midst of an argument, according to Carrie Kimball Monahan of the Essex District Attorney’s office.
Authorities say Wolff then shot back, striking MacMullen in the arm. Wolff has not been charged. Monahan said the investigation is ongoing.
Essex Assistant District Attorney Patrick Collins requested $100,000 bail and that MacMullen be ordered to 24-hour home confinement at his parents’ home with a GPS monitoring bracelet. Judge Robert Brennan set bail at $10,000 but agreed to GPS monitoring.
MacMullen has also been ordered to stay away from the victim, remain drug and alcohol free, surrender all firearms, and have no contact with any member of a motorcycle club.
MacMullen is due back in court in October for a probable cause hearing.
I feel like when ever I read something or hear something, that it's another Michael MacMullin and not my cousin. It's just so unreal to me. |

Sounds like a difficult situation for all involved. But the "reason" Michael gave to your family sounds a little more believable than an argument/gang situation. I hope that it all works out as best as possible (i.e. the intent to commit murder gets dropped) for your family.
