The world series I thought it was going to be phi vs ny I was wrong.
I thought the rangers would win in 7 (and they still may) the giants are up 2 -0 and are dominating the Texas Rangers. However, The series shifts to texas, so we'll see what happens.

Jonathan
My father was killed when I was young
He owed someone big money, he was hung
Life changed drastically
Now a single mother, my mom raising my sister and me
Working two jobs, it couldn’t be easy
I didn’t know how to deal with the pain
I started doing drugs, I was always high like an airplane
I dropped out of school
Messing around with girls, I was pretty cool
I was feeling alright
I went to jail for a night
Something about under age drinking
A uniform man said I had to go to court, I skipped it, I was not thinking
A warm day out and I was shooting hoops
Taking a break, I sat on the stoop
I heard a siren, thought nothing of it
Police stopped in front of me, ah shit
I was in handcuffs and getting my mug shot
I definitely didn’t like it, I got myself in a knot
I called my mama and she was frantic
think I rather stay in jail. Mom is going to give me an ass kicked
When we got home she gave me a good whipping
I was hurting
Late that night I heard my mom crying
It had to do something about my father dying
I went into the bathroom
I looked into the mirror and asked myself, where did I come from?
I never wanted to cause my mom pain
But yet, I did it again
I made up my mind that I would change my life
I was going to work hard in school, get a job and someday have a wife
I am going to go to bed
Wake up with a new attitude in my head
I woke up early to make breakfast for my mother and sister
I smiled, wished them good morning, I was being chipper
I saw unbelieving glances
I even made coffee, I didn’t want to take any chances
I went to school
With a smile, I made the yesterday me look like a fool
I worked hard
I brought home A’s and B’s on my report card
I felt good about myself
I even avoided my old friends and drugs, I just put them all on the shelf
I wanted to be a police officer so I went to college
I took up criminal justice, I definitely didn’t vedge
I got a job at the neighborhood store
I didn’t notice at first but a beautiful lady walked in the door
We chatted a bit and found out that she was in a couple of my classes
She made a few flirty passes
I asked her on a date
We walked around down town and then we ate
I walked her back to her dorm
The sun was starting to shine through my life that is a storm
The next few years went by great
I was getting very serious with Kate
My mom was doing well
My sister was starting at college, she was studying molecular cell
I was applying for internships with local police
I was at peace
I got called for an interview
I wore a suit and carried my resume, I had no clue
They asked me if I ever had issues with the law
I told them that I did have flaws
I’m not proud of my past but It’s a new day
The person looked at me and said “you wear your past like a resume”
