Over the abyss
Under the stars,
Take a deep breath,
– See who you are…
Cradled in the night,
Under pillows and stars,
Blankets and bars,
A whisper – the wind…
A memory or a thought,
Something we forgot.
It is there
But
It’s
Not.
Into the abyss,
Deep, deep, deep, down.
Free-falling like skylights
Into the stars.
Throw off your sheets,
Light up your sky,
Jump into that abyss,
Then…
Then you’ll land on solid ground.
