Hold you tight.

We are looking at two more houses in the next couple of days. One house I'm excited about looking at. The other one I'm not so excited about, despite the location. I feel like the second house is going to need some work. The other house looks amazing. It's not too big and it has 2 acres. That means a lot to me. I like having some land. We will see what happens tomorrow with them.

The last few days I had no idea what to think when one of my friends told me she's getting a divorce. I thought she was saying it out of anger and wouldn't go through with it. Last night she came over crying. We snuggled in bed and talked about everything. I'm still in shock. I honestly never saw it coming. She told me a few things about her marriage. She's better off without him. She also has her daughter to think about too. She does not want her daughter to be living in a house full of anger. This is the action that really has showed me she's changed. I'm going to be there for her 100%. I just wish she never had to go through this.

Work this week has been pretty good because Athena has been covering another teacher's vacation. It's been a vacation for all of us to be honest. The kids have been great, the other staff members I work with seemed less stressed, and I don't feel stressed. My boss knows everything about what's been going on with Athena and she's not impressed. Athena says she is leaving in August, but she hasn't looked any jobs or another place to live. She's been too busy partying her little heart out and coming to work hung over. I talked to my boss about everything. I asked, "What happens if she decides to stay?" and I got back a reply that was reassuring. She told me even if she does not stay, she will be be in the room anywhere and will have to go someplace else. FINALLY!!!!
