When I first embarked on this road less traveled, I knew
that writing was only part of my calling. However, I didn’t know how to explain the other parts because: (1) They were vague in my mind, and (2) There
were parts that God didn’t yet reveal to me.
More than four years later while I am still in the beginning
stage of this road, God has revealed clearly another part to me. Other than writing (which clearly is a vital
part of my work), videos will play a very important part. I may later go into details about how videos
will play an important part of my work in my calling.
Right now, I am spending a lot of time learning and working
on developing the foundation for using video, new media, and other web
technologies.
I am such an old timer. I have a bunch of videos on VHS tapes (about100 tapes.) Half of them are for the teaching or the work
(on this road less travel.) I’ve just recently
figured out how to convert the VHS tapes into digital video files on my
computer. This is only the first step
before I can use them and the web to help others. This first step will take hundreds of hours
of tedious video processing.
At some point, I would also have to purchase a semi-professional HD camera/camcorder. I don't particular like this. If you know me, you know that I do not like to be on camera. However, if this is required for the work God wants me to do, then it has to be.
