so early this morning, probably around two thirtyish, my husband starts complaining to me about chest pains. im thinkin, okay those are normal for me, but not him. ten minutes into him coming to bed, he starts having extremely bad chest pains, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, and his eyes were incredibly bloodshot. aaaaaaaaaaaand then he starts coughing up blood. and his body temp was through the roof. THATS when i started getting really really worried. so i called 911 and they took us to the st e's here in downtown (9which in foresight makes no sense because there is an emergency room right up the road maybe five minutes away). well they ytook us by ambuulance to the ER, and they took him back while i had to wait in the waiting room for them to get him all stabilized n whatnot, which took about twenty minutes. ridicuulous i know. but it gets better. we spent 4.5 hours after that in the room while they ran different tests n waited for his chest xray and cat scan to come back. all for a strain of bronchitis, some antibiotics, and an inhaler. :/ so now i get to go to work on less than three hours of sleep. SO glad i am off tomorrow. |
