R.I.P. Sweet Angel.....

Today was a very hard day....

Melissa was off...we got up kinda late...being lazy.
Finally we decided to get up and get ready to go. We Let the dogs out to pee like usual, and then went to get dressed. Once we were dressed we went to the door and called the dogs back in. Harlee ran in first after a couple of calls, My sister's dog Cujo took a little longer. We called and called for Aynslee, but she never came.

I put on my coat and shoes to go look for her. When I walked around the side of the house, I saw something in the road. I yelled to Melissa and took off running.
She had been hit by a car [they just hit her and took off...] Her neck was broken and she was bleeding from her mouth and nose.

I called my mom...all I could do was scream into the phone that I needed her there. Her and my sister showed up not too long after. They had to pry Aynslee out of my arms. I didn't want to let her go.

Our dogs are like our children. This was devastating to me. I've never had a dog killed before.
She was only 4 months old. 4MONTHS!!! She had so much more living to do.
She had NEVER gone into the road before....none of them had. So why was she there today??

I've asked Melissa to not go to work tomorrow. I need her....and I know that she needs me too.

What really pisses me off is that we live on a back road....the speed limit is 25mph. If they had've been going the speed limit, maybe we could have saved her. It wouldn't have broken her nack and instantly killed her.They hit so hard that her collar unclasped and was on the ground next to her.

I just don't know how to deal with this. My heart is broken. I miss her so much!!
