Sperm Donation!

I don't understand. Well--maybe I do...I just don't care damnit! :]

Melissa and I talked to a guy that she works wth about being a donor. haha...yeah.
He seemed fine at first,he said that he would LOVE to! Then I get his number so we can discuss details. This is what he wants...

-To be the "FATHER"
-For the baby to have HIS last name
-Partial Custody
-The child to STAY with him sometimes

UHHHH- EXCUSE ME...... NO!!!!!
Melissa and I have no problem with the donor being a PART of the child's life. But all of this is going waaaay too far! This is supposed to be OUR child. We will be the parents. Maybe the donor could be an "uncle" of some sort. And once the child was older [of course it's going to know that Melissa isn't his/her father...lol] We would sit him/her down and explain. But by that point he/she would know who his/her actual parents are....Me and Melissa.

The way this guy was acting, I was afraid that his next request would be for me, Melissa, him and his boyfriend to get a house together and raise the child as a big gay family!

I want FULL custody of my child. That way somewhere in the future, the donor can't say well- you've had your fun, now I'm fighting for full. I don't want ANYONE to have the right to take our child away from us.
And we want him/her to have Melissa's last name. That makes her more a part of things because I plan on having this child.

There has to be a guy out there somewhere that just wants to give some of his sperm to a couple of lesbians. No legal strings attached. lol

WHERE IS THAT GUY?!
