Bacon VodkaA fun novelty item, but, it makes a GREAT Bloody Mary. Also fabulous for cooking with, when you want the flavor of the bacon, without the texture!
1 Pint Vodka
3 Strips Bacon

Cook bacon. Put UNDRAINED bacon in small mason jar, with a pint of vodka. Let set in a cool, dark place for three weeks.
At the end of three weeks, place jar in the freezer to solidify the fats. Strain, and enjoy the bacon infused vodka.

I actually tried this for the first time last night.
Put it in a bloody mary, which I loathe, but this drink tasted like chilled tomato soup. Without even a hint of alcohol. It was nice. [anonymous]
