~♥ Today I'm Thankful For... My life!!

My weekend was AMAZING!!! I had a super fantastic time with my 2 favorite people! Friday I got delayed with work so I didn't get off on time and I still had a lot of packing to do. I dislike being late so I was mildly annoyed but I got over it. We headed to the Boyfriend's house and we had dinner together and hung out for a bit. After bedtime he and I spent time together and had fun. We didn't stay up super late because we were planning to leave by 6am to get to the lake. Well we ended up sleeping in (he decided we all needed it) until 8am. We got ourselves ready and headed to the lake - a 2 hour drive. He and I talked on the way and the kiddo played her DS. We're on the same kink site and he had some old posts up about past women. It's odd for me to feel jealously like I did but it was really strong. He said he didn't mind because it showed him how much I care about him. He took them all down without hesitation. He keeps telling me over and over that I'm the only woman that matters and the only woman he wants to be with. I hope I can fully trust that at some point soon. It's hard for me with my history. Men leave and break my heart. So I'm always expecting that.
Our lake trip DID NOT go as planned! As we got closer it started SNOWING!! Yes you read that right. We had checked the weather forecast earlier in the week but neither of us thought to check it the day before. When we got to the lake it was cold, but it wasn't snowing so we thought we had passed the storm. Nope! We went on a lovely hike and saw a babbling brook, beaver dams, a mama duck with babies, and places where the forest had burned from a fire a while back. The Boyfriend and his best friend had camped up there last summer and built a small lean to. He took us to the spot and amazingly it was still there! It wasn't in the same shape, but it was neat to see something he made there before. It started snowing on us so we headed back to his truck to warm up. We had packed food for a cookout and were determined to eat it so he started a fire with sticks and magnesium sparks in the grill and we grilled out food - in the snow! It snowed lightly on and off and it was freezing but we stuck it out like champs! We had brats and kabobs and grilled corn. We ate at the picnic table until we couldn't take anymore and then we went and finished eating in his truck. After that we all went and tried to fish, mainly so my daughter could do it, but with the weather we didn't catch anything. It snowed, rained and hailed on us on and off. My little on got to try casting though and she did awesome! After that we decided to head back and come again when it was going to be warm!
We came back and spent the night together again. We watched Pokemon together (my daughter's current favorite show) and then put her to bed. He and I headed to bed not long after because we were exhausted. Sunday morning we slept in because we needed it. I woke up to him getting out of bed, going to get my daughter, and putting her in bed with me. Then he started on breakfast and came and tickled us and we were all laughing and so happy. I made pumpkin bread for us too so we had a delicious breakfast together. We hung out in bed a bit more and then she and I went to come feed the animals real quick. My neighbor friend was home and we just stopped by to say hi real quick, but she wasn't having a good mother's day so we stayed an hour with her. I felt bad so we tried to cheer her up. He daughter stopped by at one point so we headed back to the Boyfriend's place. The two of them had cooked up a surprise for me but I didn't know what it was. We ate a late lunch together and then headed out. My surprise was them taking me to see Avengers Age of Ultron in 3D!  It was a fantastic movie! We all had a great time! We got home late and the 2 of them played while I made dinner. The kiddo didn't want our meal so she ate first and headed to bed. He and I had lobster tails with garlic potatoes and a port cheese on crackers. It was lovely! <3 We had a very nice dinner together and after dinner I got a nice Mother's Day night of adult fun! 
I like getting spankings in one form or another. I had bought a wood paddle online for us to try and boy do I regret it! I call it the Implement of Doom because it hurts and keeps stinging after the hit! I prefer the belt. I got both last night. It's fun to explore our Dom/sub sides like that. I asked to be restrained so he tied my wrists with rope for the first time. It was awesome! I was tied to the bed so I couldn't move my arms to block him when he hits hahaha. I've done that before. And to make things more interesting, he put the Implement of Doom on my back and on my head and told me that if it fell off I'd get spanked it it. Let me tell you, it is hard not to move & not knock it down while being spanked! I got that evil paddle quite a it. But it was all super enjoyable for both of us. It's a release to know we get to be those sides with each other and trust each other that much. We get to be who we are in every way with each other. I love that! <3
We spent the night again last night and headed back this morning since he had to work. We had a FANTASTIC weekend with him! The two of them get a long so well and have fun together. I love getting to spend my time with both of them together. I just enjoy my time with him in general. I'm looking forward to this coming week already because it will be one month of us together! We are going to have a date night just the two of us and who knows what else. All I know is that I am extremely happy and love my life! I am enjoying every minute of it! <3

I think I have seen your bloop name around for a while but never stopped by. At first when I read your Kink reference site, I wasn't sure what you were talking about until the last entry - Very interesting! I have done a bit of that but nothing ever full on, especially belts or hell, you're brave for the paddle. 
But sorry that it kind of ruined your plans, although it looks like you guys made the most of things anyway!
