So just gt home about an hour ago. Really wanted to smoke a bowl after work, but I quit for the month. Missing it already. But I gotta see if I can do it again. So I decided to take an Atavan instead to chill out. Slowly losing it's effect on me, and I barely ever take em.
AAnyway, got an urge to watch my Good Charlotte Live at Brixton Academy DVD. Then I found two other DVDs of theirs that I forgot I had. So looks like a GC marathon is to be had soon.
I dont give a fuck what people say about this band, how much they make fun of them, they're real fuckin dudes who genuinely love their fans. Encourage and motivate them.
I've been fortunate enough to see them twice. Once when I was 15 or 16, in London Ontario, then at the beginning of this year in Toronto, when I was 22. They still haven't lost that appeal to me. Even though the shows were 6 or 7 years apart, they were both awesome, these guys never really changed. They're one of the bands from my "childhood" (being probably around 11 or 12 when o bought their first cd) that I will listen to as long as they're around. They still hold that significance for me.
No matter how many similar bands keep coming out of the woodwork, this band was one of my original bands, if you know what I mean. They're just straight up awesome guys. And their newest CD only solidified this more. I only bought it like two months ago, but it's been in my car's cd player ever since. Everytime I get in my car I listen to that cd. Maybe it's time to put q new cd in there, but I'll never get sick of this one.
Wow so I was gunna write about my ex and I just went off on a music rant haha. Already started the first DVD, I remember there being some Pretty inspirational stuff on this one. Dont even know how old this one is, if I had to guess I'd say 06. After the young and the hopeless and before chronicles. Umm yeah. Gunna watch this shut before. Then move on to the Fast Future Generation DVD after that if I'm still awake. Not like anyone cares haha. |
