Is this an English girly, yo? She looks English, because she doesn't crinkle her eyes up when she smiles like Americans do.
I am totally looking at her diary, yo, to find out. Alas, she doesn't say. However, I note she was excited for her birthday, rather than about her birthday, by which prepositional use, together with her very American name, I do surmise that she is indeed a north American, albeit a rather anomalous one who doesn't crinkle her eyes up!
Actually, facial expressions can be unique to cultures, and it is a commonly acknowledged oddity that Americans crinkle up their eyes more than Brits. Like, in general, when you look at pictures, you can totally tell if someone is a Brit or an American by their facial expression. You need to travel and observe, yo!
And golly gosh, yo - what is with the anonymous comment? Are you afraid that if you use your diary name I will track you down and spit in your eye or something!
