also, on the im, we really need an 'away' or 'idle' message, yo. i leave my laptop on all day, including when i go out sometimes (cos i am that lazy) and bloopers im me for help, and i don't see it till hours later, or the next day, yo.

I've been able to access it on and off. When I have tried to access it, I have gotten a few strange error messages. I was assuming that the server was down, but I suppose I was wrong. Interesting. Any idea?

Do you remember what the error messages were? If you do, it will help decipher whether the problem is at your end or at the server's end.

I'm still kinda managing BDB, so if you want me to update anything, let me know! The only entry there is 'manage my diary overview', and that was because I saved it prior to the crash; unfortunately, all the other entries were lost. But give me a list of stuff to write about and I can (slowly) repopulate it again!

I would love for you to repopulate it. If you need any help, I know there are people here willing to help. I'll try and think up a list, in the mean time if anyone wants to make any suggestions as to good entries for BDB that'd be great.

Good idea. The only problem I have with the Bloop IM system is it makes no beeping noise or any noise to let you know you have a message from somebody. I've missed a lot of conversations that way because I don't realise someone has messaged me!

this is a good idea. i would offer to help but lately i haven't been on bloop enough and i probably wouldn't be any help at all. plus this dinosaur of a computer i'm having to use isn't very reliable so i can never be sure when something will work or not. so basically i support the idea and volunteer in spirit.
