I thought about publishing this entry yesterday on Blopo's birthday, but I hadn't decided what I wanted to say yet.
Bloopers: Bloop is 10 years old!
When I started this website, I was 17. Today, I am 27. Basic math tells you this.
Over those 10 years, the internet and the world has changed drastically. It's truly mind boggling where we are now verse where we were 10 years ago.
I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you for being members of this great community. I owe a great level of gratitude to those members that have supported Bloop through the years both financially and with their passion. Some of you have been here since the beginning, when Bloop ran on a 56K home connection and would only have so many hours of uptime per day. (Somehow, it still worked.)
I'd also like to thank Teresa (lithium layouts.) and The Doc who have provided endless hours of support; friendly faces that any member using the support system has probably talked to.
I have something I want to show to everyone, but it isn't ready.
(that's what she said) What I have shown previously has been prototype work for the next version of Bloop. Typically the reason I'd show this to seek feedback. But at this point, feedback isn't really required; I need to forge toward the completion of version 3. Watch this space because the stars have aligned.
Here's to another 10 years of Bloop.
