Notice for everyone regarding penetration testing

Hello Bloopers,

Just to let you know that there may be brief episodes of downtime today (probably lasting a few minutes at a time) where we try to bring the server down with some penetration testing. This testing is for the sake of security. So don't worry if you can't access the site, just try again in five minutes.

Also, remember to read the last entry about the pumpkin contest!

Hey there Steve, I noticed that the time-out is now working again for me. I never reported this because thought it was something with my computer keeping me perpetually signed in until I closed the tab, but since you posted this notice and now it's back... just thought I'd let you know, if you changed something, it worked for me

When I am inactive for a period, it logs me out. It was not doing that for several months.

Thanks! But I now notice that when you reply to my comments, when I hover over the new message it no longer drops down so I can come directly here. I have to go to my inbox, open it, and click the link. Haha, if it isn't one thing, it's another but it's only a few extra clicks anyway.
